Morning Prayer to Start Your Day 28 July 2026 (Inspired by Psalm 16:11, AMPC)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious gift of this new morning and for the blessing of waking up to another day filled with Your grace. As I come into Your presence, I lift my heart in worship and thanksgiving. There is no better place to begin this day than with You, for You are my strength, my hope, and my everlasting joy.
Your Word in Psalm 16:11 (AMPC) declares, “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” Father, thank You for this wonderful promise. Today, I choose to seek Your presence above everything else because I know that true joy is found in You alone.
Lord, guide me along the path You have prepared for me. Direct every decision I make, every conversation I have, and every step I take. Keep me from wandering into places that are outside of Your will. Help me to trust Your leading, even when I cannot see the entire journey ahead.
Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Good Shepherd. When I am uncertain, be my wisdom. When I am weak, be my strength. When I am discouraged, remind me that Your presence is enough to lift my spirit. Let the joy that comes from knowing You become my strength throughout this day.
Holy Spirit, fill my heart with the fullness of Your joy. Remove every burden of anxiety, fear, disappointment, and discouragement. Replace them with peace that surpasses understanding, hope that cannot be shaken, and confidence that comes from walking closely with You.
Father, let me become more aware of Your presence in every moment. Whether I am working, serving, resting, or spending time with others, help me to remember that You are always with me. Let Your presence calm every storm within me and give me confidence to face whatever this day may bring.
Teach me to delight in You more than in the temporary pleasures of this world. Help me to treasure Your Word, enjoy fellowship with You through prayer, and find satisfaction in living according to Your purpose. Let my greatest joy be found in pleasing You.
Lord, bless the work of my hands today. Grant me wisdom to make good decisions, favor in my relationships, and strength to fulfill every responsibility You have entrusted to me. Open doors that align with Your perfect will and close those that would lead me away from Your purpose.
Use me today to spread the joy of Christ. Let my words encourage those who are discouraged, my actions reflect Your love, and my life point others toward the hope that is found in You. May those who meet me experience the peace and joy that come from Your abiding presence.
Thank You for always showing me the path of life. Thank You that Your presence is my refuge, my delight, and the source of lasting joy. I surrender this day into Your hands and choose to walk with You, trusting that You will guide me every step of the way.
