BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.” – Psalm 34:11
The fear of the Lord is not about living in terror of God. It is about approaching Him with reverence, awe, love, and wholehearted obedience. It is recognizing that He is holy, sovereign, and worthy of our complete trust.
In Psalm 34:11, David extends a heartfelt invitation: “Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.” He understood that a life anchored in reverence for God is a life marked by wisdom, security, and blessing.
To fear the Lord is to place Him above every other influence.
It means choosing His truth over popular opinion.
It means obeying His Word even when it is difficult.
It means trusting His plans when our own understanding falls short.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your holiness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. You alone are worthy of all honor, praise, and reverence.
Teach me to fear You rightly—to love what You love, to hate what is evil, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Help me to make decisions that reflect my trust in You and bring glory to Your name.
Guard my heart from pride and self-reliance. Fill me with humility and a deeper desire to know You more each day.
May my life be marked by wisdom, integrity, and faithful devotion as I seek to follow You in every season.
