Morning Prayer to Start Your Day 24 May 2026 (Inspired by Hebrews 12:1–2)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of a new day and for the strength You provide to keep moving forward. As I begin this morning, I reflect on Your Word in Hebrews 12:1–2, which reminds me to throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and to run with perseverance the race marked out for me, fixing my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.
Lord, today I choose to fix my eyes on You.
Help me to let go of every burden, distraction, fear, and worry that weighs down my heart. Show me anything in my life that is holding me back from fully walking in Your purpose. Give me the courage to release what no longer belongs in my journey with You.
Father, strengthen me to run this race with perseverance. When I grow tired, renew my strength. When challenges arise, help me not to give up. Teach me to keep moving forward in faith, trusting that You are with me every step of the way.
Lord Jesus, You endured the cross and overcame every obstacle for the joy set before You. Help me to follow Your example of endurance, obedience, and unwavering faith. When life becomes difficult, remind me that my struggles are not greater than Your power.
Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions today. Keep my heart focused on eternal things rather than temporary distractions. Help me to live with purpose, discipline, and faithfulness in everything I do.
Father, remove discouragement from my heart. Replace doubt with confidence, fear with courage, and anxiety with peace. Help me not to compare my journey to others, but to faithfully run the race You have uniquely set before me.
As I go through this day, remind me that I do not run alone. You are my strength, my guide, and my source of hope. Keep my eyes fixed on Jesus when distractions try to pull me away from Your truth.
Lord, let this day be marked by faith, perseverance, and trust in You. May every step I take bring glory to Your name.
Thank You for sustaining me, guiding me, and never leaving my side. I surrender this day fully into Your hands.
