BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” – Romans 5:1–2
One of the greatest gifts God gives to those who trust in Him is peace.
Not temporary peace based on circumstances, but deep and lasting peace with God through Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1–2 reminds us that because of faith in Christ, we are no longer separated from God. We are justified—made right with Him.
This is powerful truth.
Many people live carrying guilt, fear, or the pressure of trying to earn God’s acceptance. But salvation is not based on human effort; it is received through faith in Jesus. Through Him, we have peace with God.
Peace means the conflict is over.
The separation has been removed.
The relationship has been restored.
And not only do we have peace, but we also have access to grace.
Grace is God’s undeserved favor, love, and help working in our lives daily. The Bible says this is the grace “in which we now stand.” That means grace is not temporary—it is the position of every believer.
You stand in grace today.
When you feel weak, grace sustains you.
When you fail, grace restores you.
When you are uncertain, grace reminds you that God is still with you.
And because of this, we can live with hope—confident expectation in the glory and promises of God.
No matter what season you are in, your peace is secure in Christ. Your standing with God is not based on perfection, but on faith in Jesus.
So today, stop striving to earn what God has already freely given. Rest in His peace. Stand confidently in His grace. And live with hope in His promises.
Let’s Pray:
Lord God, thank You for the peace I have through Jesus Christ. Thank You for making me right with You, not by my works, but by faith in Him.
Help me to rest in this peace and not live in fear, guilt, or striving. Remind me daily that I stand in Your grace and that Your love for me is secure.
Lord, let Your grace strengthen me in every weakness and guide me through every season. Fill my heart with hope and confidence in Your promises.
Thank You for restoring my relationship with You and for surrounding my life with Your peace and favor.
