BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! … For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” – Romans 11:33–36
There are moments in life when we try to understand everything God is doing. We search for answers, explanations, and clarity about His plans. But Romans 11:33–36 reminds us that God’s wisdom is far beyond human understanding.
Paul bursts into worship as he reflects on the greatness of God: “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!”
God’s wisdom is limitless. His understanding reaches beyond what we can see or comprehend. While we often focus only on the present moment, God sees the beginning, the middle, and the end all at once.
That is why His ways may sometimes seem mysterious to us.
There are prayers we do not fully understand. Delays we cannot explain. Paths that seem confusing. Yet even when we cannot trace His hand, we can trust His heart.
The passage asks, “Who has known the mind of the Lord?”
The answer is simple: no one fully can. And that is comforting, because it reminds us that God is not limited by human reasoning. He is perfectly wise, perfectly just, and perfectly good.
Then Paul concludes with this powerful truth: “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.”
Everything begins with God, is sustained by God, and ultimately points back to God. Our lives, our purpose, our blessings, and even our seasons of growth are all connected to Him.
This should lead us to worship, humility, and trust.
When you realize how great God is, you stop trying to control everything and begin surrendering more fully to Him. You rest in the assurance that the One directing your life is infinitely wise.
So today, stand in awe of God. Trust His wisdom above your understanding. And give Him the glory He deserves.
Because His ways are higher, His knowledge is deeper, and His plans are always perfect.
Let’s Pray:
Lord God, I stand in awe of Your wisdom, knowledge, and greatness. Thank You for being a God whose understanding is perfect and whose ways are always right.
Help me to trust You even when I do not fully understand what You are doing in my life. Teach me to surrender my questions, fears, and plans into Your hands.
Lord, remind me that everything comes from You, is sustained through You, and exists for Your glory. Let my life reflect worship, humility, and trust in You.
Fill my heart with peace, knowing that You are wise beyond all understanding and faithful in every way.
To You be all the glory forever.
