BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” – Jeremiah 29:11
There are seasons in life when the future feels uncertain. Plans may not unfold the way we expected, doors may close, and questions may arise about what lies ahead. In those moments, it is easy to feel anxious or discouraged.
But Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of a powerful truth: God already knows the plans He has for you.
Not uncertain plans.
Not incomplete plans.
But intentional, purposeful plans designed with you in mind.
And His plans are good.
God’s intention is not to harm you, but to prosper you—to lead you into a life filled with purpose, growth, and fulfillment in Him. Even when situations seem difficult, His plan is still working for your good.
Sometimes, we struggle because we want to understand everything immediately. We want clear answers and visible direction. But God calls us to trust Him, even when we cannot see the full picture.
He sees what you cannot see.
He knows what you do not know.
He is already ahead of you.
This means your future is not left to chance. It is held in the hands of a loving and faithful God.
And His plans include hope.
Hope is what keeps you moving forward. It reminds you that your story is not over, that better days are ahead, and that God is still working behind the scenes.
So today, release your worries about the future. Let go of fear and uncertainty. And place your trust in the One who has already written your story with purpose and care.
Because God’s plans for you are good—and they are worth trusting.
Let’s Pray:
Lord God, thank You for the plans You have for my life. Even when I cannot see clearly, I trust that You are working for my good.
Help me to release my fears about the future and to place my confidence fully in You. Teach me to trust Your timing and Your direction.
Lord, fill my heart with hope. Remind me that You are leading me into a future that is secure in Your hands.
Guide my steps and help me to walk in faith, knowing that Your plans are always better than my own.
Thank You for loving me and for carefully designing my path.
