BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY:  “Jesus told them another parable: ‘The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.’” – Matthew 13:24

Life often feels like a field in process. Seeds are planted—dreams, prayers, efforts, and acts of faith. We expect everything to grow perfectly and produce good fruit. But sometimes, things don’t unfold the way we imagined.

In this parable, Jesus begins with a simple but powerful truth: the seed that was sown was good.

This reminds us that God’s work in our lives begins with goodness. His plans, His Word, and His intentions toward us are always good. When He plants something in our lives—a purpose, a calling, or a promise—it carries the potential for growth and fruitfulness.

But growth takes time.

Fields don’t flourish overnight. Seeds go through unseen processes before anything becomes visible. And in that waiting season, it can be easy to question whether anything is really happening.

Sometimes, we may even notice things that seem out of place—challenges, delays, or distractions that try to interfere with what God is doing. But the presence of difficulty does not cancel the goodness of what God has planted.

God is still at work.

This verse reminds us to trust the process. To believe that what God has planted in your life is intentional and will produce fruit in its time. Even when you cannot see it yet, something is growing beneath the surface.

So don’t rush the process. Don’t lose faith in the waiting. And don’t doubt the goodness of what God has started in you.

Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep nurturing what God has placed in your heart.

Because in due time, it will grow.

Let’s Pray:

Lord God, thank You for the good seeds You have planted in my life. Thank You for Your plans, Your Word, and Your purpose for me.

Help me to trust the process, even when I cannot see immediate results. Give me patience in the waiting and faith in the unseen.

Lord, protect what You have planted in me. Remove anything that tries to distract or hinder my growth.

Teach me to remain steady, to keep believing, and to continue walking in obedience.

Thank You because what You have started in my life is good, and it will grow in Your perfect time.
