Lamentations 3:21-26
21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
22 It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Open Heaven For Teens 18 April 2026 MESSAGE
I am the last male child of my father, and all my older siblings weren’t educated because we were poor. However, I insisted that I would go to school. When my father told me to ‘wake up’ to my reality, I told him that I would rather go hungry. I refused to give up on my dreams, and I did not eat for three days in protest against my father. Fearing that I would die of starvation, my mother prevailed on my father to sell his most prized possession — a goat — to pay my fees. Today, by God’s grace, I hold a PhD in Mathematics and have received eight honorary doctorate degrees from various international institutions.
My dear child, there will be moments when you will feel like giving up on your dreams, faith, or even yourself. Perhaps you’ve prayed and waited for a breakthrough, but nothing seems to be happening; please don’t lose heart. Just because you don’t see immediate results doesn’t mean that God is not working in the background. Remember, no night lasts forever. The same God who created the sunrise has promised that joy is on the way. Soon, His light will break through your situation. I pray that the Almighty God will grant you the patience to wait on Him, in Jesus’ name.
