BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY:  “Then John gave this testimony: ‘I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him… I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.’” – John 1:32, 34

There are moments in life when we seek certainty—when we want to be sure of who to trust, what to believe, and where to anchor our faith. In John 1:32, 34, we see a powerful testimony from John the Baptist. He didn’t speak from assumption; he spoke from revelation. He saw the Spirit descend upon Jesus and remain on Him, and he boldly declared: this is God’s Chosen One.

This moment reveals something deeply important—Jesus is not just a teacher, not just a prophet, but the Son of God, chosen and confirmed by the Father.

John’s testimony reminds us that faith is not built on guesswork. It is built on truth. God made it clear who Jesus is, and through that truth, we are invited to believe, to trust, and to follow Him.

Sometimes, doubts may arise. Questions may come. But like John, we are called to hold on to the truth of who Jesus is. He is the One sent by God. The One filled with the Spirit. The One who brings salvation and life.

When we truly recognize Jesus for who He is, our response changes. We no longer follow Him casually—we trust Him deeply. We rely on Him fully. We build our lives upon Him.

And just as the Spirit remained on Jesus, God’s presence remains with us as we walk with Him. We are not left alone in our faith journey. The same Spirit guides, teaches, and strengthens us daily.

So today, reflect on this truth: Jesus is the Son of God. He is trustworthy. He is faithful. And He is worthy of your full devotion.

Let your heart rest in Him.

Let’s Pray:

Lord God, thank You for revealing Jesus as Your Son, the Chosen One. Thank You for the truth that anchors my faith and gives me confidence in who You are.

Help me to trust in Jesus more deeply each day. When doubts arise, remind me of the truth of Your Word. Strengthen my faith and help me to stand firm in what I believe.

Lord, guide me by Your Spirit. Teach me to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and to build my life upon Him.

Thank You for Your presence and for the assurance that I am not walking this journey alone.
