Bedtime Prayer 11 March 2026, Wednesday
As the sun sets and the activities of the day fade into the quiet of the evening, our hearts need a moment to transition from the chaos of the world to the peace of God’s presence. Night time is a sacred space—a time to lay down our burdens, reflect on God’s faithfulness, and surrender the unknowns of tomorrow into His capable hands.
Below is Bedtime Prayer for today:
Scripture: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
Prayer:
Father, as I lay down to rest tonight, I feel the weight of this week trying to press in on me. There are things on my mind—decisions I need to make, conversations I replayed in my head, and worries about the future. But right now, in this moment, I choose to give them all to You.
I don’t want to carry the burden of tomorrow into my sleep tonight. Your Word tells me to cast my anxiety on You, not because You are obligated to take it, but because You care for me. That truth settles my heart. You care about the details of my life. You care about the situation at work. You care about my family.
So, Lord, I physically and spiritually release my grip on every concern. I hand them over to You. I declare that I am not strong enough to carry them, but You are strong enough to handle them. As I close my eyes, let my mind be still. Let my heart be at peace. I trust You with the unknowns. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
