MFM Daily Devotional 11 March 2026 | MESSAGE

In the course of our reflection in the past four days, we learnt that the issue of generational curses is not something to trifle with. It is so serious that it has brought many glorious destinies into untimely grave. It has converted the head to tail. It has made princes and warriors to be grinding corn in the compound of their enemies. It has made those in the front to be behind. In everything, breaking generational curse is not a gentleman affair. It is to be taken serious.

In the fire scriptures of today. The people of God lamented on what had become of them, they had been enslaved in their own land; the enemy is now ruling over their lives; they make their daily living at the peril of their lives; their women are being ravished in their presence.

Dearly beloved, the children that are suffering now are not responsible for the pain they are going through. Therefore, breaking the generational curse that is in operation will take a deep process of repentance for the past deeds of the ancestors. There must be renunciation. What brought them to this level of suffering was what their ancestors did. They disobeyed God at will and served the gods of the land God gave them. They followed the culture of the people, made their children to pass through fire, killing at will.

The problem is very deep; therefore, deep repentance is equally needed. If this is not done, many coming generations will keep on suffering. Breaking generational curses will be effective if every member of the family comes to God for repentance, do restitution where necessary and then undergo family deliverance. If there are idols or shrines and altars, after deliverance they should be submitted for burning. Thereafter, everyone of them should make God their anchor. After all, the Bible says, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”, (Matthew 11 28). Once you come to Him, He takes over the affairs of your life.

PRAYER POINTS

MORNING
1. My Father, You said I should come to You; I have come; settle me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Wherever I have been locked up, O God deliver me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Prison house of my father’s house, release me by fire, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Lord Jesus, direct me to the right way of life, in the name of Jesus.
5. Powers contending with my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. You my life be filled with the Holy Ghost afresh, in the name of Jesus.
7. My life shall be better than that of my ancestors, in the name of Jesus.
