Topic: Purity of Garment And The Flow of Oil

SCRIPTURE: Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. Ecclesiastes 9:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The purity of the garment determines the pouring of the oil.

MESSAGE: It has been established that righteousness brings about empowerment to life and destiny. It is also important to know that nothing weakens life and destiny like unrighteousness.

Now, let us look at how the purity of garment brings Oil (The Anointing) upon a person.

There is a connection between the whiteness of garment and the flow of the Oil upon a person’s head. Ecclesiastes 9:8 says, Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.

This implies that when the garment is white, the Oil can be on the head. If a person’s garment is not white, his head cannot be anointed with Oil. When the garment is stained, the oil becomes stale. The purity of the garment determines the pouring of the Oil. If you want the Oil to be poured on your head, the garment must be pure. So, if the garment is not white, the Oil cannot flow and if the Oil does not flow, power would be lacking because the Anointing is the secret of power (Isaiah 10:27: Acts 10:38).

So, the purity of the garment determines the flow of the Oil and the flow of the oil determines the manifestation of power.
