In the world we live in today, there are many of us testifying that we belong to Christ, many of us are confessing our love and intimacy with Christ but godly men and people of trustworthy character are scarce. The problem is not our confession but the character we portray. The strength and the impact of our lives depend on our character.
Examine your life in the light of Luke 6:43-45. What lesson can you learn? Truly, if anyone be in Christ, then old things MUST pass away, and ALL things must become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). If you have died to your old life, then the new life in you should produce the fruit of the Spirit and not the works of the flesh. See Galatians 5:19-25.
Read Luke 6:46-49 again and reflect on what it means to build on the rock. Matthew 7:22-23 builds on Luke 6:46 of today’s passage. Read it and notice that Christ does not deny that these people prophesied, cast out demons and worked wonders in His name. Here, Jesus was interested in their personal relationship with Him which reflects in their godly lifestyle. With all their ‘testimonials’, Jesus says they should depart from Him for He does not know them. Anyone who does not build his life and ministry on Jesus Christ, the solid Rock, faces eternal disappointment.

THANK GOD FOR:
•Every opportunity we have to be equipped for the work of the kingdom He has entrusted in our hands.
The wisdom to trainers at the National level, who will then train others at the lower formations.
PRAY FOR:
•All who will attend the various Train-the-Trainers Workshops; that they will be focused.
•Wisdom and understanding of the trainings, so that they will be able to effectively train others.
•The trainings to have the desired impact on the work.
