Morning Prayer for Today (January 2, 2026): Friday – Fully Committed to the Lord
Each day becomes lighter when we place it fully in God’s hands. Psalm 37:5 offers a powerful invitation and promise:
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
God never asks us to carry life’s burdens alone. When we commit our plans, paths, and concerns to Him, He faithfully works on our behalf. This morning, surrender your way to the Lord and trust Him to bring His perfect will to pass.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this new morning and for the assurance that You are actively working in my life. Lord, I commit my way to You today—my plans, my choices, and my future. I release control and place my full trust in You.
Lead me in paths that honor You and bring peace to my heart. Remove anxiety, impatience, and doubt, and replace them with faith and confidence in Your timing. Help me to wait on You without fear, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises.
Father, as I walk through this day, I trust You to bring to pass what You have spoken over my life. Strengthen my faith and help me remain steady in hope. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
