21 Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out. 22 Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. 23 At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.

As a believer, you need divine direction to succeed in life and ministry. You were bought by God (1 Corinthians 6:20), and you are His property. No issue of your life is too small or too big to talk to God about.
Divine direction is evidence of God’s presence in your life. It gives you light in making decisions (Nehemiah 9:12) and grants you cheap victory in life’s battles (1 Samuel 23:1-5). Jesus always acted according to divine direction. He did what He saw the Father do. Divine direction is your birthright as a believer. It also deepens your walk with God and leads to spiritual maturity. As we follow His leading, our ways become perfect because the ways of God are perfect (Isaiah 48:17).
Divine direction guarantees divine protection (Psalm 105:14-15). It helps you accomplish God’s plan and purpose for your life. When God directs you, you walk in His strength.
God desires to guide us so His will can be made known (Amos 3:7). He guides so we can align with His plans. When He directs us, He provides for us. His desire is that we prosper (3 John 2). He guides to keep us from pride and destruction (Job 33:13).
In the Old Testament, God guided His people through the pillar of cloud and fire (Exodus 13:18-21), Urim and Thummim (Exodus 28:30), prophets (2 Kings 3:11), dreams (Genesis 28:10-15), angelic appearances (Judges 6:11-12), and fleeces (Judges 6:36-40).
As New Testament believers, God leads us through His Word (Psalm 119:105) and the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14). Therefore, you must cultivate a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Beloved, to succeed in every area of life, divine direction is essential.
