Morning Prayer for Today (September 19, 2025): Friday – Running with Endurance
Each new day is an opportunity to fix our eyes on Jesus and run the race of life with faith. Hebrews 12:1–2 says: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.” This is a powerful reminder that our strength for today comes from focusing on Christ.
Scripture for Today’s Morning Prayer

Powerful Morning Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for the gift of a new morning. As I rise today, I lay aside every weight, worry, and sin that may try to hold me back. Your Word in Hebrews 12:1–2 calls me to run the race with endurance and to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.
Lord, give me the strength to press on, even when challenges come my way. Help me not to be distracted by fear, doubt, or the pressures of life. Let my heart be steadfast and my spirit determined to finish well. Jesus, You are my example, my strength, and the author and finisher of my faith. I choose to walk today in Your grace and victory.
I declare that today, I will not grow weary, I will not faint, but I will run with endurance, keeping my eyes on Jesus. In His mighty name, Amen.
