The Wonder of Creation

Psalm 104:10-26
Lord, you have done so many things! You made them all so wisely! The earth is full of your creations! – Psalm 104:24 (CEB)
Our dog Madani has recently given birth to three cuddly puppies. It seems like every move the puppies make is cuteness overload. I have watched them grow quickly from having their eyes closed to learning how to crawl to learning to walk.
As I reflect on our little puppies, I’m reminded of the psalmist praising God for the vastness of creation. Psalm 104 details how God has intricately designed each precious creation. Nature proclaims the greatness of our Creator. All creation gives God glory.
Looking at our puppies, I can’t help but love them and enjoy them. Likewise, I believe God enjoys loving, caring for, and providing for us all.
Today’s Prayer
Lord God Almighty, we thank you for your beautiful creation and for the ways it reminds us of your great love. We pray as Jesus taught us, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matt. 6:9-13, KJV).
