Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, acknowledging our need for Your strength and wisdom. Your Word reminds us that temptation begins in the secret places of our hearts. Lord, search us and purify every desire that does not align with Your will. Do not let us be deceived or lured away by fleeting pleasures that lead to destruction.
Father, help us to walk in the Spirit so that we will not gratify the desires of the flesh. When temptation comes knocking, give us discernment to recognize it and courage to resist it. Let the power of Your Word and the guidance of Your Spirit keep us standing firm.
Lord Jesus, thank You for the victory You won over sin and death. Teach us to rest in Your grace and live in Your freedom. May our lives reflect holiness, obedience, and love, bringing glory to Your name.
