TOPIC: The Wait Is Over
SCRIPTURE READING: John 5: 1-12 (KJV)
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
FOCUS VERSE:
“In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.” (John 5: 3)
Our Focal Scripture makes mention of the multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. There was a multitude in the pool of Bethesda, waiting for their miracle to happen. They were in a season of waiting, hoping and perhaps praying earnestly that their miracle would come forth by the stirring of the water. These multitudes were in a waiting season.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your waiting season is over. The season you waited for your miracle to come, is over. The season of waiting for your expectations to become reality, is over. The season of waiting for El Roi to see you, is over. The season of waiting endlessly for the answers to your prayers, is over. The season of waiting for the doors you knocked on to open, is over. The season of your endless wait, is over. There will be no more waiting.
In whatever area of your life where you have been waiting, let the miracles come forth. In any area of your life where you have been waiting, let the mighty hand of El Roi cause mighty works to come forth in your favour. In every area where you have waited, let the Lord cause a pleasant surprise to locate you. Your wait has become a miracle. Your wait for that breakthrough is over. Your wait for that elevation is over.
I decree, the wait is over. Wherever there has been waiting, let the wait be replaced with divine speed. Wherever there has been a long wait, let testimonies that sound like lies come forth. In your health, family, career, business, ministry, vocation, etc., I decree, the wait is over. What you have waited for is soon to become your evidence. What you have waited for, is soon to become a song of dancing and rejoicing. Your wait is over.
Others may still wait, but your own wait is over. The time for your rejoicing has come. It is your time and your turn for an uncommon miracle. The wait is over.
Isaiah 25: 9 says: “And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
DECLARATION: The wait is over; my time of rejoicing has come, in Jesus’ name!
