SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13:6-9(KJV)
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
MEMORY VERSE
“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8: 18)

Streams of Joy Thursday July 17, 2025 – MESSAGE
In bible times, the fig tree was a measure of wealth. If you had fig trees that produced fruits, it was a chance to get richer and richer. So, when the owner of the fig came and for three years in a row, found no fruits, it was a case of expected income that never came. He had done a work that should yield money but the money was not forthcoming. He had something that should bring him money, but the money was tied down and never came.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: whatsoever that is yours that is tied down in places where you are unable to reap from, I decree, the end has come; let your portion come forth. Wherever your wealth is tied, I decree, let it be released by fire. Wherever your finances are tied, I command them to be released. I command your resources to be released. I command your results to be released. I command your portion to be released.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: every situation that is causing your resources to be held back, I command a reversal. Every destiny mistake that is holding back your resources from coming forth, I speak mercy on your behalf. Every siege that the enemy has laid on your finances, today, I decree, it will not stand. Every siege on your business ends today. Every siege on your career ends today. Every financial siege ends today.
Notice that the bible did not say that all figs were unable to bring forth. It was the fig tree of this vine owner that did not bring forth fruits. Could it be that others were harvesting and this man had no harvest? Could it be that others were bringing forth results and this man had nothing to show from his own fig? I pray for you: may it never be said that you were financially stagnated while others were growing in their finances.
Welcome to that season where your finances will not be tied down. Welcome to that season where your figs will not leave you empty-handed.
