Heavenly Father,
I come before You this Sunday morning with a heart full of gratitude and awe. Thank You for the gift of this new day and for the chance to rest in Your presence. Your Word in 1 John 3:22 reminds me that whatever I ask, I receive from You because I keep Your commandments and do what pleases You. I hold tightly to this promise as I seek You today.
Lord, I ask for Your guidance
As I step into this new week. Order my steps and help me to walk according to Your will. Teach me to live in obedience, not out of fear, but from a heart that loves You. Let my words, my actions, and even my thoughts bring You glory.
Father, I confess
That I have not always lived in a way that reflects Your holiness. Forgive me for the times I’ve strayed, for the moments I’ve doubted, and for the things I’ve done that did not please You. Wash me clean and restore my spirit, Lord.
Thank You for the assurance
That You hear me when I pray in alignment with Your will. Thank You that my obedience matters to You. Teach me to delight in pleasing You above all else, and to trust that You are working all things for my good.
Today, I lift up my needs to You
You know my heart, my struggles, and my desires. I trust You with my concerns—whether spoken or silent. Provide for me in every area of my life, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Let Your peace settle deep within me.
Fill me with faith
To believe in what I do not yet see. Strengthen me when I grow weary, and help me to continue in prayer, confident that You hear every word. Let my life reflect trust in Your timing and in Your plans.
Let this Sunday be a day of renewal
Refresh my soul, Lord. Let Your Word speak clearly to me, and let Your presence revive anything in me that feels dry or distant. Draw me closer to You and let Your joy be my strength today.
I pray for those who minister to me
For my pastors, mentors, and spiritual leaders—please strengthen them and protect them. Bless their work and let Your anointing flow through them as they serve. Use them to speak life and truth to my heart.
Unite me with others
In love, humility, and a spirit of grace. Help me to be a light to those around me, to serve where there is need, and to love others the way You love me. Make me sensitive to the needs of others, even as I seek You.
In Jesus’ holy name I pray,
Holding fast to Your promise in 1 John 3:22 and trusting that You are faithful. Amen.
