Streams of Joy 27th April 2025 Devotional (Sunday) Message
TOPIC: Cut Them Off
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 KINGS 18: 40-46
MEMORY VERSE
“Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.” (Isaiah 47: 1)
FOCUS VERSE:
“And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.” (1 Kings 18: 40)
In our Focal Scripture, Elijah ordered that the entire four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal be killed. God had promised to send rain on the earth, but before the rain would come, Elijah decimated the prophets of Baal. Elijah decimated the systems of hell that operated in Israel. Elijah pulled down the entire system that was competing with the power of God in the land. Elijah halted the forces of darkness while waiting for the rain.
Friend, as you wait for that rain that God is about to send in your life, do well to decimate the systems of hell that have arisen to work against you. Pull down every satanic structure that says you will not advance. Pull down every satanic arrangement that is standing in the way of the works of God in your life. Pull down the arrangements of hell that want to keep you stagnated. Pull down the systems that oppose God in your life.
Notice that these prophets of Baal were said to feed from Jezebel’s table (see 1 Kings 18 vs. 19). They were energized from the table of Jezebel. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every table that is energizing the wickedness of the systems of hell, I decree, let fire answer. Let the sword of the Lord arise and slay the energizers of the works of darkness that are against you. Let the Jezebels that feed negativity, go down by fire.
God promised to send rain, but when the rain eventually came, after the prophets of Baal had been decimated and annihilated, it was called a great rain. If you decimate the systems of hell that have arisen against you, even God Himself will do for you more than He said He would do. When you cut off the negativity that the enemy has set up around you, you will receive exceedingly abundantly, above what you ask or think.
Arise with the sword of the Lord and make sure that no prophet of Baal in your domain survives. Cut off every altar of darkness around you. Cut off every system that breeds negativity around you.
DECLARATION:
My evidence will come by the word of the Lord; no system of hell will take the glory, in Jesus’ name!
