Streams of Joy 22nd April 2025 Devotional (Wednesday) Message
TOPIC: Public Miracles
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 8:26-39
MEMORY VERSE
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now. God’s decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once – and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.” (Amos 9: 13 MSG)
FOCUS VERSE:
“hey also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.” (Luke 8: 36)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the people who witnessed the deliverance of the demon possessed man, spread the news about how he had been healed from his infirmity. They saw what the Lord had done, and they became advertisers of the works of God in the life of that man. They became advertisers of what Jesus did for that man. The miracle he received was newsworthy, and men told the tales of how it happened before their very eyes.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to receive that miracle that will be newsworthy. You are about to receive miracles that men will see and not be able to stop talking about it. You are about to receive that divine intervention that will put you in the news. You are about to receive that mighty wonder of El Roi that will make even your haters to spread the good news of your miracle. You are about to be in the news positively.
The situation of that man had become a case of public shame. Everyone knew about his affliction. Everyone knew that he was often driven by the devil into the wilderness. Everyone knew that he wore no clothes. Everyone knew that he had been homeless. The moment his miracle came forth, everyone also knew it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: where you have endured public shame, you are about to witness public miracles.
Those who knew your bad condition are about to become carriers of the news of your increase. Those who identified you on the basis of your challenge are about to also spread the news of the wonders of El Roi in your life. Those who knew that you were in dire straits are about to see and announce that El Roi has turned your story around. Those who saw your bad news unfold will also see your good news unfold before their very eyes.
Welcome to that season where El Roi will cause you to have miracles that will be freely advertised by people around you. Welcome to that season where the works of God in your life will be such that will provoke public announcements.

My mind is restored; my mind is sound, in Jesus’ name!
