Bible Verse – “When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.” – Acts 16:7–10 (NIV)
Prayer of the Day:
Gracious and Sovereign Lord,
You are the God who speaks in whispers and visions,
who closes the road to Bithynia to open the way to Macedonia.
Teach us to surrender our agendas to the movement of Your Spirit.
When our plans fall apart, may we not grumble—but seek Your greater purpose.
Help us to hear Your “no” as clearly as Your “go.”
Let our faith be bigger than our fear of the unknown.
Give us discernment to recognize divine moments even in our delays.
Stir our hearts for the places we’ve never considered,
and the people we’ve never seen—yet who cry out for help.
Make us sensitive to the spiritual needs around us,
and send us, Lord, as willing vessels to where the harvest waits.
Strengthen our obedience, that we may respond with urgency and joy.
Unite our steps with Your will, that we may walk in sync with heaven’s rhythm.
Fill us with compassion that mirrors Your heart,
and courage that mirrors Your Son.
Use us to be the answer to someone’s prayer today—
to be light, to be hope, to be messengers of the Good News.
