Prayer for Today:
My Gracious Father,
Today I come to You humbly, laying down the weight of pride, fear, and self-dependence. I acknowledge that Your hand is mighty, and Your timing is perfect.
Help me to release every care I’ve been clinging to—every anxiety, every quiet worry, every loud fear. You’ve invited me to cast them on You, not just temporarily, but once and for all.
So I choose to surrender.
I give You the things I can’t control. I give You the future that feels uncertain. I give You the burdens that keep me up at night. I trust that You care—with deepest affection—and that You are watching over me with purpose and love.
Lift me up in Your time, Lord—not when I demand it, but when You know I’m ready. Keep my heart soft, my mind steady, and my hands open to whatever You’re doing today.
