My Loving Father, as the day comes to a close and I prepare for rest, I quiet my heart in Your presence. Like Solomon, I come before You with a prayer offered in faith and reverence, believing that You are near and that You delight in drawing close to those who seek You.

Lord, let Your fire fall in my life—not in destruction, but in purification. Consume all that is not pleasing to You—every fear, every burden, every sin I’ve carried today. Burn away distractions and cleanse my heart so that I may rest in the peace that only Your presence brings.
May Your glory fill this house tonight, just as it filled the temple in the days of old. Fill every room with Your peace, every corner with Your comfort, and every moment with the awareness that You are here. Let Your Spirit surround my home, my family, and my thoughts as I sleep.
Thank You for being faithful today—for the unseen ways You protected me, the quiet moments of grace, and the strength You gave me to walk through both joy and challenge. Even when I stumbled, You were there. Even in weariness, You sustained me.
Now, Lord, I lay everything before You. My plans, my worries, my unanswered questions—I place them at Your feet. You are the God who answers by fire, who fills temples with glory, and who fills hearts with peace. Tonight, I surrender and trust You to watch over me as I sleep.
Let my dreams be sweet, my heart be still, and my soul find rest in Your unfailing love.
