Streams of Joy 1st April 2025 Devotional (Tuesday) Message
TOPIC: Prolonged Negativity
MEMORY VERSE
“What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” (Nahum 1: 9)
SCIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 26-39
FOCUS VERSE:
“And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.” (Luke 8: 27)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of a certain man who had devils for a long time, met Jesus. This man was possessed by demons, and it was not a mere demonic possession for a few days; it was demonic possession that had lasted a long time. It was a satanic affliction that had persisted for a long time. That man was getting older, but the demons just wouldn’t leave him. The affliction that he suffered continued with him for a long time.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: as the second quarter of 2025 commences, I pray for you: you will not be a victim of prolonged negativity. You will not suffer affliction for a long time. No negativity will make your life its abode for a long time. You will not be counted amongst them that are caught in negativity for a long time. You will not be in the trap of the enemy for a long time. You will not be surrounded by negativity.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever battles that have lasted longer than necessary, I command them to cease from your dwelling. I command every health challenge that has been with you for so long to come to an end. I command every siege of the enemy to break into pieces. I command every satanic gate that the enemy has locked against you for a long time, to be opened now. I command the chains of affliction to be broken already.
Jesus did not pay the price to redeem you so that negativity will still find room in your life. Jesus did not redeem you so that troubles can surround you as they wish. Jesus did not save you from sin so that you will remain a mere spectator in destiny. I pray for you: the season of being under the siege of the enemy is over. Your soul has escaped like a bird out of the snare of the fowler. Every negativity that has lasted long, is broken.
Welcome to that season where the enemy will not plant prolonged negativity on your destiny. Welcome to that season where your destiny will not be under siege.

As I journey towards Jesus, I journey out of every tomb, in Jesus’ name!
