Streams of Joy 29th March 2025 Devotional (Saturday) Message
TOPIC: No Reduction
MEMORY VERSE
“Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.” (Ezekiel 37: 12)
SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 8: 28-34
FOCUS VERSE:
“After Jesus had crossed the lake, he came to shore near the town of Gadara and started down the road. Two men with demons in them came to him from the tombs. They were so fierce that no one could travel that way.” (Matthew 8: 28 CEV)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of the two men who met Jesus out of the tombs. These were not just boys; they were men. They were in the age of responsibility, but a demonic affliction kept them in the tombs. They were in an age where they should make impact in their families, be married, have children, etc. but they were stuck in the tomb. Destinies that should be remarkable were reduced to the tomb. Their destinies were reduced.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your destiny will not be reduced. You will not dwell in the tomb. You will not dwell in the environment of death. You will not dwell in a place that will swallow your potentials and potentialities. You will not dwell in that place where your greatness will be unduly mitigated. You will not be in that place where your destiny mandate will be truncated. You will not leave the city and dwell in the tombs.
Tombs are meant for the dead, but two grown men were caught therein. They were reduced to dwelling in a place that was meant for the dead. They were reduced to staying in a place that was below their grade as living beings. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be reduced to staying in the place that is meant for the dead. You will not dwell in the tombs. You will not dwell in a place that is below who God has made you.
Powers that reduce the destinies of men, I decree, you are not their candidate. You are not a candidate for destiny reduction. You are not a candidate for dwelling in the tombs. You are not a candidate for dwelling in the place of death. You are not a candidate for destiny extinction. You were not redeemed by the blood of Jesus to now dwell in the place that is meant for the dead. You were not redeemed to be reduced to nothing.
Every reduction that the enemy already made happen in your life, I command a reversal. You were meant to be seated with Christ; you were not created to dwell in the tombs.
DECLARATION:
Jesus has set me free, I cannot be bound, in Jesus’ name!
