Water from the Rock
1 The entire Israelite community left the Wilderness of Sin, moving from one place to the next according to the Lord’s command. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. 2 So the people complained to Moses, “Give us water to drink.”
“Why are you complaining to me?” Moses replied to them. “Why are you testing the Lord?”
3 But the people thirsted there for water and grumbled against Moses. They said, “Why did you ever bring us up from Egypt to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”
4 Then Moses cried out to the Lord, “What should I do with these people? In a little while they will stone me!”
5 The Lord answered Moses, “Go on ahead of the people and take some of the elders of Israel with you. Take the staff you struck the Nile with in your hand and go. 6 I am going to stand there in front of you on the rock at Horeb; when you hit the rock, water will come out of it and the people will drink.” Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.
7 He named the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites complained, and because they tested the Lord, saying, “Is the Lord among us or not?”

MFM Devotional Wednesday 5 March 2025 MESSAGE:
In the last four days, we have been looking at the mystery of divine prescriptions. It is a great privilege to have access to heaven’s secret and solution. Today, we will round off this important discourse.
Beloved, it is not everyone that can access divine prescriptions. God is the Source and Giver and it is mainly for His children. Jesus told His disciples about their privileged status when He said, “It is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom, to them it is not given. So, you need to give your life to Jesus and become a genuine child of God to receive the prescription of heaven and solution to your challenge. New birth will qualify you for it. In case you have not given your life to Jesus, do so now.
Second, you must study God’s Word, pray fervently and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit so that you can hear God. The ability to hear God will position you to receive His Prescriptions. Tell Him to open your eyes to see His wondrous things and open your ears to hear His instructions.
Third, it is one thing for God to give you His prescription graciously and it is another thing for you to believe it and act appropriately on it. You must demonstrate unwavering faith in God for the divine prescription to birth your expected results and blessings. You also need to exhibit courage and give neither fear nor discouragement any room in your life.
If you are a genuine child of God, you should always remember that He is with you all the time and in all situations. When the children of Israel were almost dying of thirst, they complained to Moses who cried to God and got a divine prescription. God told him to strike the rock with his rod. Moses did; water gushed out of the rock and they drank to their satisfaction and lived.
In John 9, Jesus spat on the ground, mixed His saliva with it, applied it to the eyes of the man born blind and instructed the man to go and wash his eyes in the Pool of Siloam. The man heeded the prescription and came back seeing.
I pray that the same Lord will visit you today, in the Name of Jesus.

MORNING
1. O God of solution, visit me today, in the Name of Jesus.
2. Every barrier to receiving my divine prescription, scatter, in the Name of Jesus.
3. O God, give me the faith and courage to obey and carry out Your divine prescription, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. O God, damage my ignorance, in the Name of Jesus.
5. O God, open my eyes and ears to receive Your prescriptions, in the Name of Jesus.
6. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I overcome the spirit of impossibility, in the Name of Jesus.
7. Heaven of divine solution, open unto me now, in the Name of Jesus.
