Seeds of Destiny Wednesday 5 March 2025 – SOD MESSAGE

‌The Scripture makes it clear that the Word of God acts as a washer or cleanser of life. Sitting under the Word is like sitting under a shower. That is why Ephesians 5:26 says: That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.

Anytime you read or study the Word, your life is being cleansed. Whatever is staining your life and destiny is washed off whenever you give attention to reading, studying, meditating on, praying, and practicing the Word of God. Now, how does the Word of God mould our character? The Word of God reveals divine precepts and principles.

One way the Word of God moulds our character is by revealing divine precepts, principles, or codes of conduct. The Word of God is the container of the ways of God (Isaiah 55:7-9). God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. You cannot be in touch with the ways of God and be a wayward person.
 You cannot be in touch with the ways of God and miss your path in life.
 You cannot be in touch with the ways of God and fall into the traps of the enemy.

The truth is, anytime you are in touch with the Word of God, you are in touch with how to behave and how to express the Divine nature within you in practical ways.

REMEMBER THIS: You cannot be in touch with the ways of God and be a wayward person.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to engage consistently with the Word of God.
2. Submit yourself to the transforming power of the Word so your life can be positively adjusted.

PRAYER:
Father, I ask that You cleanse my life with the cleansing power of Your Word. I receive the grace to adjust my life as I study and meditate on Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
