MFM Today Devotional 2 March 2025 – SUNDAY MESSAGE
Today, we shall look at the features of divine prescriptions and some instances in the Bible that God used them to turn precarious situations around for His children.
First, a divine prescription has the power to solve an age-long problem or terminate an age-long captivity. For about four and a half centuries, generations of the Israelites suffered in bondage, and slavery in the hands of the heartless taskmasters emboldened by the tyrannical king called Pharaoh. First, God raised and anointed Moses as their leader and deliverer.
After nine plagues that Moses and Aaron released to punish Egypt so that Pharaoh would let the people of God go and serve Him, Pharaoh was still adamant and stiff-necked. What did God do? He gave Moses a prescription. He told him to inform the children of Israel that each household should kill a lamb and put its blood on the door posts and lintels of their houses.
God added that He would send His angel to the land of Egypt to kill all the first born of humans and animals. He said that all Israelites who remain in their houses under the covering of the blood would be passed over by the angel of death. The Israelites were also instructed to take the passover meal.
Beloved, this divine prescription was what ended 430 years of bondage and set the Israelites free. While they and their children were preserved, the Egyptians lost humans and animals in thousands. Pharaoh and the Egyptians who had refused to let the Israelites go out of bondage now began to urge them to leave. The prescription brought God’s wrathful judgement upon Egypt and Pharaoh succumbed.
Beloved, I pray that God will give you the prescription that will terminate that age-long battle, bondage, health challenge, marital problem, barrenness and poverty in your life, in the name of Jesus.
Divine prescriptions are for God’s children. Therefore, if you are not born again, I advise you to give your life to Jesus Christ now. Second, pray to God, as the Israelites did, to show your displeasure with the precarious situation or challenge. God will intervene. Third, when God graciously gives you His prescription, make sure you obey it to the letter. The result you will get will be ear-tingling.

1. O God, have mercy upon me and visit me today, in the name of Jesus.
2. God of all possibilities, give me a prescription that will win my battles for me and end my challenges, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, the prescription that will terminate age-long and generational challenges or liabilities in my family, give it to me today, in the name of Jesus.

4. Power of God, confront and conquer age-long ancestral battles in my life and family, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, as I apply Your prescription, let Pharaoh-like enemies in my life scatter, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God, as l apply Your prescription, let all chains in my life break, in the name of Jesus.
7. O God, as I apply Your prescription, let power change hands in my favour in my family and nation, in the name of Jesus.
