In these two brief parables, Jesus compares the kingdom of God to both the mustard seed and the yeast (Matthew 13:31-35). The mustard seed is small but when it is planted, it grows to become a large tree with branches that provide shelter to birds of the air. In like manner, small yeast added to a dough of flour, spreads through the dough and provides much food to feed many people.
When Jesus started preaching, only a few people followed and believed in Him. Most of the people rejected Him, mocked Him and finally killed Him. And even His disciples deserted Him! But today, by the power of the Holy Spirit, from that negligible number of disciples, a mighty church has grown, and it has spread to every country of the world. We can contribute our quota in spreading the gospel to the entire world irrespective of our strength and number.

* The Abuja Regional Chairman Dr. Jonah Abah and the Regional Coordinator Engr. Ikoyi Samuel for the work God is using them to accomplish in the Region. • The ongoing work at the National Camp of Peace Abuja and the instruments God is using for the work.
PRAY FOR:
* More commitment among the brethren in evangelism and visitation so that some ailing Groups will be revived. • Unity among the grassroot members from Groups, Zones and Areas to make the work easy. • Spiritual and physical security of the Region and Areas. • God to open more financial doors in the Areas and Region
