Streams of Joy 17th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Monday) Message

SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13
“And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” (Luke 13: 13)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Jesus laid hands on the woman who had the spirit of infirmity, and she was immediately made straight. Jesus had spoken a word, commanding her to be healed; but He went a step further to lay hands on her. Laying on of hands is symbolic of the release and transference of power. So, there was a release of power from Jesus to that woman, and the powers that held her bound, bowed.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: by the power of God, every power of hell that has held you bound, is bowing now. By the power of God, every satanic siege on your life is broken. By the power of God, every satanic load the enemy put on you has been removed. By the power of God, every affliction that has lingered in your life has come to an end. By the power of God, every contrary power against your life is crumbling.
The spirit of infirmity on that woman may have resisted every effort that had previously been made, but it could not stand the power that was released through Jesus. The spirit of infirmity came in contact with the power of God, and it came to an end. Some situations may continue to dance around you until you show them a high dose of the power of God. Some issues may not shift grounds until you shift them forcefully with power.
In 2025, get an unusual dose of the power of God. Grow in the manifestation of the power of God. There are obstacles that will naturally change position when they feel the heat of the power of God flowing through your life. There are satanic oppositions that will crumble with ease when they feel the onslaught of the power of God flowing through you. There are afflictions that will bow to you when you show up with power.
Don’t accept to be a powerless Christian this year. Turn up with power in your inner man, and the powers of darkness will crumble.
Luke 10: 19 says: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
TODAY’S DECLARATION: In 2025, I walk in power, in Jesus’ name!
