Streams of Joy 11th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Tuesday) Message

SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13
“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.” (Luke 13: 11)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of the fact that the woman with the spirit of infirmity was bowed together and could not lift up herself. That woman was unable to look up. Her posture changed because of the trouble she faced. The trouble she faced, gave her a posture that did not allow her to see what was ahead of her. The challenge she faced, gave her a posture that limited her visibility. Her challenge gave her a posture that heaven didn’t give.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every posture that your challenges have given you, today, I decree, that wrong posture is broken. I break every posture of lack; I break every posture of limitation; I break every posture that puts you at a disadvantage; I break every posture that wants you to not see what God has in store for you; I break every posture that limits your rising; I break every posture that says you will not lift yourself up.
The posture that became the lot of this woman in our Focal Scripture, put her in a position where she could barely help herself. Someone who should ordinarily be able to lift herself up, could not do same. Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever the enemy has done in your life to make you unable to help yourself, I decree, let it be reversed. Let every limitation from hell be broken. Let every limitation the enemy threw at you be broken.
Today, I pray for you: receive strength to do what you could not do before. Receive strength to rise above the limitations of your yesterday. Receive strength to rise above the shackles that your circumstances put on you. Receive strength to break out of every siege of the enemy. Receive strength to be all that the Lord destined you to be. Receive strength to become all that the enemy has been stopping you from becoming.
In this new season and even beyond, your will not dwell in any posture that is not of God. You will not be incapacitated. You will not be unable to help yourself.
Genesis 27: 40 says: “And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”
DECLARATION: Every posture that is not of God, limiting my destiny expression, I break out now, in Jesus’ name!
