Streams of Joy 9th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Sunday) Message
TOPIC: Evil Behind the Scenes
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13
“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.” (Luke 13: 11)
In our Focal Scripture, while Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, there came a woman who had been with a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. Notice that this woman did not just have an infirmity. She had a spirit of infirmity. There was an evil spirit behind the physical manifestation of the negativity around her. An evil spirit orchestrated what seemed like a medical condition. There was a spirit behind her infirmity.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic spirit that is orchestrating negativity around you, I decree, their time is up; thus far and no further. I dismiss every satanic spirit behind any battle you might be faced with. I dismiss every satanic altar that is sponsoring negativity in your life. I command every power of hell behind your travails to get out by fire. I command every spirit of hell that is troubling your life to leave.
An undiscerning person would have felt that this woman needed medical intervention; but it turned out that an evil spirit was behind what she was dealing with physically. An evil spirit was working behind the scenes to orchestrate negativity around her. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every power of hell that is operating behind the scenes to cause you pain and bitter tears, I command it to break by fire. Let every hidden source of evil go down.
El Roi has His eyes on you; you are His workmanship; your body is the temple of God, and no evil spirit has a right to dwell in God’s temple. Jesus did not redeem you so that evil spirits can hold sway in your life. Jesus did not redeem you so that battles that swallow the years of men can swallow your years. I pray for you: may the power of God break every satanic hold on your destiny. The power of affliction is broken for good.
Welcome to that new season where the evil spirits of hell will have no hold over your body. Welcome to that season where every satanic spirit behind any negativity around you will not have space to remain.
Ephesians 4: 27 says: “Neither give place to the devil.”
TODAY’S DECLARATION: I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus; I will not be under the influence of evil spirits, in Jesus’ name!
