Many years ago, I had a sticker on my car with the caption, “Why be normal?” That was not just a sticker, but a message. A major challenge among many children of God today is the tendency for normal existence.Children of God are not expected to live ordinary life but supernatural life.
As a child of God, there should be something in your life that⁷ differentiates you from unbelievers. You are expected to carry a stamp of unmistakable Divine Presence and Aura.
Beloved, when was the last time someone looked at you and noticed a connection between you and Jehovah?
You see, God is looking for a generation of people who will cause a commotion of change by merely passing through a place.
I know someone who was born in the house of animals, but on the day of His birth, there was a party in heaven to the point that shepherds on earth heard it. Stargazers saw His “Destiny Star” and came to worship Him. He was not an ordinary man; He was revival in motion. “Something” was flowing from His Body that made people struggle to touch His garment.
People knew there was something different about this wonderful man of Galilee. A woman who had an issue of blood for twelve (12) years touched the helm of His garment and was made whole at that instance (Matthew 9:20-22).
His name is Jesus Christ! And this same Jesus Christ lives in you. But the question is, why is your own life normal and natural despite the presence of this supernatural Jesus Christ in you? Why be normal and ordinary?
You must make up your mind to live an extra-ordinary life. Make up your mind not to be normal, ordinary and natural in your generation. Be positively unique, abnormal and unusual!
Remember this: A major challenge among many children of God today is the tendency for normal existence.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Resist every form of natural, ordinary and normal living.
2. Make up your mind to be a true reflection of the character, personality and power of Jesus Christ on earth.
PRAYER: Father, I ask that You make me a true reflection of the Nature, Character and power of Jesus Christ on earth. I receive the grace to manifest Your Power, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
