TODAY’S WORD
When we look at our circumstances, sometimes we don’t see how we can get ahead, own and not just rent, or accomplish our dreams. With inflated gas and food prices and high interest rates, we may not see a way in the natural. But God is a supernatural God. When we come to the end of our resources, He says, “I’ll make streams in the desert. I’ll take five loaves and two fish and multiply them to feed thousands.”
When Peter didn’t have money to pay the temple tax, Jesus told him to go to the lake and the first fish he caught would have a coin in its mouth that covered his and Jesus’ tax. God was showing us that He has supernatural provision. He’s not limited by what you don’t have, by your education or career.
You may be barely getting by today, but you’re going to come out of not enough into more than enough. God is not a get-by God. He’s an overflow God. Don’t live with a lack mentality, a limited mindset. Have an abundant mentality.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You are in no way limited to what my circumstances look like and have been. Thank You that I am in the palms of Your hands and You have supernatural ways of providing for my needs. Help me to have an abundant mentality and believe for overflow to bless others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
