If this is you, I want you to take hold of this New Year—it’s time to let God do a new work in you! This year, refuse to allow your future to be dictated by the world…this is the year you’re going to walk in the Spirit!
The Christian life is not complicated, but sometimes it is difficult. Why? It is not your natural life…it’s your supernatural life. To live abundantly in Christ, you must let go of your own will and depend on the supernatural power of God and the induement of His Holy Spirit!
Unless you let the Holy Spirit direct your life, you will become controlled by your own desires and live according to the changing whims of the world.
This year, refuse to be dominated by the flesh. This year, set your mind on the things of the Spirit so that you can walk in the fullness of His power.
Dear Lord, I pray that the work you have started in me you are faithful to complete in me. Allow me to live in you as you teach me how to live an abundant life. Amen
