Streams of Joy 13th December 2024 Daily Devotional (Friday) Message
TOPIC: Men of Value
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 2
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,” (Matthew 2: 1)
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judah, wise men came from the east to Jerusalem. These wise men were not mere pedestrian men. They were men who knew the times. They were men who studied the stars. They were men of immense value. They were men who eventually brought gold, and frankincense and myrrh. They were men who had value to offer. Jesus’ birth brought men who had something to offer.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: by reason of the birth of Jesus, men of value are coming your way. Wise men are coming your way. Men who understand the times are coming your way. Men who understand the agenda of heaven are coming your way. Men who know what the Lord is doing in the now are coming your way. The men you need are coming your way. Men who are ahead of you are coming to you. Useful men are coming.
Jesus did not need to invite the wise men to come to Him. They just came on their own. They came without being begged to come. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the men you need will come to you on their own accord. You will not need to beg them to come. They will come on their own. Kings are nobles will come to you on their own accord. Men that matter in the scheme of things will come to you on their own accord.
The season of being surrounded by men who have no impact to make in your affairs, is over. The season of being surrounded by men who are not ‘wise’, is over. The season of gravitating towards men who are unable to bring value to the table, is over. The season of being caught in the middle of men who are unable to understand the agenda of heaven around you, is over.
Welcome to that season where wise men will enter your life like never before. Welcome to that season where men of value will come your way like never before.
Isaiah 60: 3 says: “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”
DECLRATION: Wise men are coming my way in this season and beyond, in Jesus’ name!
