Streams of Joy 21st November 2024 Daily Devotional (Thursday) Message
TOPIC:D IVINE SUDDENLIES
“And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” (Acts 16: 26)
Our Focal Scripture records that “suddenly there was a great earthquake”. Paul and Silas had been praying and singing praises to God in the prison. They had been knocking on the doors of heaven with prayers and praises. They had been drawing the hand of God in their direction.
They had been pushing for a divine atmosphere to be brought into the prison. Notice that the response of heaven came suddenly. It was a divine suddenly.
Friend, I pray for you: may there be an outbreak of divine suddenlies in your life. May the hand of God be stretched forth towards you suddenly. May the gates of opportunities be opened to you suddenly.
May the miracles that you have been seeking come to you suddenly. May divine intervention show up for you suddenly. May the results you seek come your way suddenly. May heaven meet your need suddenly.
The earthquake that God sent came without warning. It came before anyone could get a grasp of what heaven was up to. Hear me as I hear the Lord: before you can even get a grasp of what God is about to do, He would have done it for your sake.
Before you can even figure out what heaven is up to, your evidence would already be in your own hands. Before you can figure out how the doors would open, they will already be open.
A sudden event is an event that happened quickly. Hear me as I hear the Lord: heaven is about to turn up for you quickly. Divine intervention is about to burst out quickly for your sake. The results you have been seeking from El Roi will come to you quickly.
The turnaround you have been expecting will come to you quickly. You will have heavenly emergencies that will cause your situation to change drastically.
Welcome to your season of divine suddenlies. Welcome to that season when heaven will cause your good news to burst forth without warning.
2 Chronicles 29: 36 says: “And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.”
