Streams of Joy 1st November 2024 Daily Devotional (Friday) Message
TOPIC: No Satanic Gains
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 16:16-21
“And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:” (Acts 16: 16)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how a damsel was possessed with the spirit of divination, by which she brought her masters much gain. The spirit of divination was an evil spirit, and by it, the damsel brought her masters much gain. Negativity was making gains through the damsel. Evil was making gains through the damsel. The enemy was gaining grounds by using that damsel. The kingdom of darkness made gains through the damsel.
Friend, it is an error to allow the enemy to make gains through your life. It is an error to allow the enemy to make gains within your territory. It is an error to allow the enemy to make gains through satanic activities going on around you unchallenged and unmitigated. It is an error to allow the kingdom of darkness move and advance freely under your watch. It is an error to allow patterns of negativity to survive more than necessary around you.
When you become a slave to the enemy, you are allowing him make gains through you. When you engage in sin and immorality, you are making room for the enemy to make gains through you. When you open the doors of your destiny to the enemy, you are making yourself a willing tool for satanic advancement. When you make the mistake of pleasing the enemy instead of pleasing God, you are making yourself an agent of the devil himself.
Today, I pray for you: the devil will not make gains through your life. The season of being a vessel for satanic advancement, is over. The season of being beneficial to the enemy and his works, is over. The season of being a conduit for the attainment of hell’s goals, is over. The season of helping to consolidate the chokehold of the enemy on your territory, is over. The season of being passive as the enemy ravages your zone, is over.
Welcome to that season where the enemy will not make gains under your watch. Welcome to that season where you will not birth results for the enemy.
Ephesians 4: 27 says: “Neither give place to the devil.”
DECLARATION: The enemy will not make gains through me or around me, in Jesus’ name!
