Question(s) for Reflection
•Q2: Is there any example for me to follow or not to follow?
Persecutions did not change either Paul’s mnessage or his behaviour. He had suffered unjust beating and
imprisonment at Philippi before going to Thessalonica (v.2; Acts I6:22-24). Having been entrusted with the gospel by God Himself, he kept true to his task as its messenger (Vs.4-6). He did not subtract the idea of suffering in order to make it more acceptable.
He did not add to the gospel message any promises of health and wealth in order to entice the people or to avoid trouble from them. More, his life of toil and hardship, together with his fellow evangelists, was the practical witness which bore out the truth they were proclaiming (vs.7-9). See who he called as his witnesses to these facts in v.Io!
How does all this compare with modern day evangelists in your experience? Still, it is important not simply to point the accusing finger at other people. How does your own message and witness live up to this standard? Someone has said that the life of Christians is the Bible that non-Christians read!

► Enabling grace to her fulfill the purpose of God for calling her.
PRAY FOR:
More grace upon her and her entire family to listen, hear and understand what God is saying
►The desires of her heart for the Union and the nation will comne to pass
►God’s ever abiding presence upon the entire family making them to excel.
