The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

King Abijah’s reign was filled with war because he tried to reclaim Israel’s northern ten tribes as part of his kingdom. One of the things that gave him victory in the battle against his enemy was that he upheld God’s covenant with Israel while the other tribes got rid of the Levites and gave the people freedom of worship – to become priests of false gods if they wanted to.
God was proud of King Abijah, who truly honoured Him by standing up for righteousness. He said: Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with their battle trumpets to sound the call to battle against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers, for you cannot succeed. 2 Chronicles 13:12, ESV
My dear child, don’t get involved in unnecessary fights when satan attacks you; just honour God by living a holy life, and you will realise that you won’t need to lift a finger because God Himself will fight for you.
