Today’s Scripture
So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a dream or vision and didn’t believe it was really happening. – Acts 12:9, TLB
Today’s Word
King Herod had had Peter chained between two guards in the deepest part of the prison, but in the middle of the night an angel came to rescue him. What’s interesting is that the whole time Peter was following the angel, he thought he was seeing a vision of himself walking past two guard posts and the iron gate opening by itself. He didn’t realize it was real until he got out on the street, walking as a free man.
Sometimes you don’t realize that God is doing things that are leading you to open doors. It’s only after you get past it that you’ll look back and think, “Wow, God! You were ordering my steps, bringing the right person to help, and making me invisible to the people who weren’t for me.” How many times have angels worked on our behalf, but we couldn’t see it?
Even now, God is working behind the scenes and is about to open doors of healing, freedom, and abundance for you. It looks like an iron gate, but of its own accord, it’s going to open.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that no matter what trouble I face, I can stay in peace knowing that You are surrounding me and You can turn every situation around and put an end to it. Thank You that You even send angels in various forms to rescue me. I declare that You are greater than any force that comes against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
