TOPIC: Jehovah Kanna Is Jealous
…(for you shall not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God)…
– Exodus 34:14
God is jealous over us with a burning jealously. He does not want us to have divided interests. In the time of Moses, the Israelites were just as likely to worship Jehovah as Baal or Asherah. Today, more than likely, believers do not have physical idols in their homes, but they still may have an unholy alliance between God and the world.

The Father’s jealousy aggressively pursued us with a love that climbed every mountain, bridged every chasm, went to the heights of the summit, and to the depths of despair. This kind of holy jealously is what caused the Father to send His own flesh and blood, Jesus Christ, to die, rise again, and redeem you and me back to a place where He could wrap His arms around us and say we belong to Him. The Lord loves you with an unconditional love, and He wants your unwavering devotion and love also.
Today, I make the decision to serve You in singleness of heart. I will love the Lord with all my heart, mind, soul and strength.
