Streams of Joy Daily Devotional 19 August 2024 (Monday) Message

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Luke 19: 28-40
FOCUS VERSE: “And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.” (Luke 19: 35)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of when the colt was brought to Jesus. There had been a prophecy of how Jesus will ride into Jerusalem on a colt. So, Jesus Himself needed the colt.
Notice also that the colt was earlier tied and even too young to be used, and only became significant because Jesus called for it to be loosed. So, the colt needed Jesus. There was a coming together of the person who needed the colt and whom the colt needed.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: may God cause your path to cross with the men you need and the men that need you. May heaven cause you to be encountered by the people who need the capacity you have in you. May God send you men who need your services.
May God send you men who have you in their growth and advancement plans. May God send you men who need your expertise, ministry, wisdom, capacity, etc.
Again, hear me as I hear the Lord: may heaven send you the men you need. May God send you men who have the opportunities you need. May God send you men who have the access you need. May God send you men who have what you currently lack and are willing to give same to you. May God send you men who have the resources you need. May God send you men who have what it takes to bring you to the place of honour.
By the design of heaven, and without any personal effort on the part of the colt, it came in contact with whom he needed and Whom needed him. The colt was honoured because it met the One who needed it and the One it needed. I pray for you: may your testimony be that you have come in contact with what and who you need, and what and who needs you. May your testimony be that God connected you to the right people.
Welcome to that season where you will be connected to the men that need you and the men you need. Welcome to that season where your destiny connections will be complete.
Romans 8: 28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
DECLARATION: I receive the gift of the men and I need and the men who need me, in Jesus’ name!
