Luke 4:18 – “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”

Deliverance is the key to total freedom.

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 29 JULY 2024 MESSAGE
There are many family problems that cannot be solved without deliverance. What is deliverance? Deliverance means to loose somebody or a family from bondage. Deliverance means restoration. We have examples of people who were delivered from bondage in the Bible (Luke 13: 15-16, Mark 5: 1-8, Mark 9: 14-27).
A family needs deliverance when there is an evil family pattern running in the family. Evil family pattern is when a family is known for a certain negative behaviour. A family can be in bondage to a particular sin or curse that results in poverty, marital failure, non-achievement, unexplainable delays, infirmities, etc. Bondage in the family is also responsible for working hard with nothing to show for it, sexual perversion, addictions, infidelity, theft, etc.
These things frustrate people when they do not understand what is wrong with them and how to deal with it. There are also families dealing with evil inheritance, where you have like father, like son, and like mother, like daughter cases. When these things are not tackled, there would be frustration, confusion, dejection, fear, anger, etc. And so you see affected families running round in circles and not making any headway.
Many families in the Bible suffered greatly from this. An example is the family of Abraham. As blessed as he was, Abraham suffered barrenness likewise his son, Isaac. Psalm 11: says, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” We can find an answer in Obadiah 1: 17 which says, “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
A family in bondage can run to the Lord for deliverance in order to possess their possessions as we can see concerning the house of Jacob. Deliverance is what any family in bondage needs. Is your family under any form of captivity? You need deliverance.

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
1. Father Lord, deliver my family from every bondage of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every evil pattern in my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. The powers that fought my parents and are now fighting me, die, in the name of Jesus.
𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
4. I refuse to wear the evil shoes of my father and mother, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father Lord, deliver my family from every ancestral transmission, in the name of Jesus.
6. My family is not for sale, in the name of Jesus.
7. Blood of Jesus, redeem my family from every evil foundation, in the name of Jesus.
