Today’s Scripture
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. – 2 Corinthians 3:18, NIV
Today’s Word
Is your face unveiled today? Are you wearing masks to cover your weaknesses, your failures, your doubts and fears? As long as your face is veiled, you won’t see God’s glory. You won’t see the freedom, the wholeness, the abundance that He has for you. Why don’t you take off the mask? Perhaps you think, “What will people think if I don’t hide my weaknesses?
What if they know that I still struggle in this area and need help?” They’ll think you’re real. They’ll think you’re brave. They’ll think you’re honest. And for those who might look down on you, what they think about you doesn’t stop your destiny. Quit worrying about what they think. There’s always going to be someone who doesn’t understand you, won’t be for you, and tries to make you feel small. But there will be other people God has ordained to be there to help you, to bring you out of the struggle, to lift you when you’re down, to speak victory when you feel defeated. It is so much better to be real, to be vulnerable.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the invitation to drop my masks and deal openly and honestly with the hidden issues that hold me back. Thank You for the promise that You are transforming me from glory to glory. I believe that You are working right now to lift me to another level. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
