TOPIC: Utterance of the Spirit
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.– Acts 2:4 (KJV)
When I had cancer on my vocal cord, I could not utter a word, and I would go to my study to pray, read the Word and meditate for hours on end. As I spent time in God’s presence, I would lay hold to the truth of God’s Word and claim every promise I could find.

Because I could not even utter a sound, one of my favorite verses during this time was Acts 2:4, that the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. If you study it out in the original text, it actually reads, “as the Holy Spirit enabled them to express their original selves.”
When you speak in that heavenly language, that’s actually the original you, the real you speaking. That is the pre-fall you expressing to God your prayers, desires and entreaties in a language you do not understand, unless the Holy Spirit gives you the interpretation.
When you pray in that heavenly language each day, it sets the atmosphere for your day.
Holy Spirit, refresh my prayer language today so that I can do battle in the spiritual realm throughout the day.
