Rod Parsley Daily Devotional 10 June 2024, Monday Message
TOPIC: Grace to Preach
To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the incomprehensible riches of Christ…
– Ephesians 3:8
In my book Culturally Incorrect, I wrote, “Much of the church’s present impotence and failure is due to a fundamental understanding about what it really means to be a Christian, after all…”
What do I mean? The Gospel many preach is but a mere shadow of the real thing. We have replaced the deep things of God with a one-dimensional facsimile. Many believers understand the message of salvation, but few fully comprehend the true doctrine of healing, atonement, sanctification, deliverance or prosperity.
They are busy serving the Lord but have no real personal relationship with Him. Despite their outward Sunday morning attire, they are inwardly and outwardly a verifiable stranger to the actual character of the Christ they claim they serve.
Jehovah Joshua Messiah deeply desires an intimate relationship with you, not just religious exercises you execute to appease Him.
Today, I choose to lay aside the superficial trappings of religion for a deep, intimate relationship with Christ.
